The coronavirus pandemic has brought the entire hospitality industry to a standstill. It has forced hotels and resorts to rethink their strategy to combat this unprecedented crisis. The concept of hospitality will have to be redefined in these testing times to make people more confident about staying in hotels.

Rooms will be cleaner than ever

Room cleaning, hygiene and disinfecting have never been more critical. We will be placing more emphasis on room service and housekeeping. High-touch points and surfaces, including doorknobs, countertops, tabletops, wardrobes, and handles, will be cleaned thoroughly and sanitised. Special attention will be paid to the cleaning of bathrooms. Sanitisers will be provided in every room for the guests.

A higher standard of hygiene-Inside as well as outside

We have drastically elevated hygiene standards, both within the hotel as well as outside. The rooms, the washrooms, the gym, fitness centres, and other public areas will undergo rigorous deep-cleaning and disinfecting several times a day with hospital-grade EPA- approved chemicals that target a wide range of bacteria and viruses, to ensure a safe environment. Not just that, the chauffeured limousines that are used to ferry the guests will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised after EVERY transfer! All this will take place under the vigilant eye of a specially appointed Hygiene manager who will ensure that all the standard protocols are followed across the hotel.

Introduction of automation and technology

Automation and technology will now play a large part in making your hotel stay safer than ever. We have put into use electrostatic sprayers that disperse mist across large areas uniformly to disinfect surfaces. Checking in, checking out, making reservations, asking for other services won’t require you to go to the reception, thanks to contactless check-in through your cell phone. Additionally, you do not have to reach your wallet every time to pay for in-hotel services. You can simply pay via phone while checking out. That is not all, we have specially commissioned high bar pressure dry steam cleaners that are known to get rid of germs for housekeeping. Love your paper with your tea or coffee? Worry not, we give you access to digital news and e-papers on your phone or laptop.

Safety and Hygiene for associates and partners

All our associates and partners have undergone rigorous training regarding hygiene and safety. Wearing PPE kits, including masks and gloves inside the hotel premises, is mandatory for everyone. There are regular temperature checks for all the employees at the points of entry of the properties. There are alarms installed to remind the staff to sanitise themselves periodically. All these protocols will ensure that you have a safe stay at the hotel.

Safety norms throughout the hotel

All the lobbies and public areas have been reconfigured to ensure that the social distancing norms are correctly adhered to. The restaurant seating at all our hotels has been reconfigured to help guests maintain a safe distance. Other initiatives include extensive use of sanitisers and the introduction of e-menu in the restaurants.
