All our eligible associates across the brand have been vaccinated and continue to follow enhanced hygiene and safety protocols under sUraksha by The Leela in partnership with Bureau Veritas. Our extensive list of safety measures include the following:

  • Mandatory use of protective gear including masks, gloves and PPE kits for all our associates
  • Regular temperature checks of all guests, associates and partners upon entering the hotel premises
  • Alarms for all the associates as a reminder to sanitise themselves
  • Rigorous deep cleaning and application of disinfectants in guest rooms, fitness centres and restaurants
  • Cleaning of all high-touch points like door handles, elevator buttons, counter tops, table tops and railings with disinfectant at regular intervals
  • Use of hotel cars for transferring guests to ensure maximum safety
  • Sanitisation and inspection of all cars by the concierge team before and after every transfer
  • Deployment of task force under the guidance of our partners and a dedicated Hygiene Manager, to ensure that all protocols are strictly followed across all hotel

The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts today announced the successful vaccination of all its eligible associates across the brand. The Leela had made a commitment to launch a vaccination drive that would cover its entire workforce and their families. While majority of the associates have been vaccinated with both doses, all those eligible have taken their first dose. To ensure the safety and well-being of the guests and themselves, our associates continue to follow all protocols under sUraksha by The Leela program. “In these unprecedented times, vaccination is the key element in combating the pandemic. The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts today announced the launch of a vaccination drive for associates and their immediate family members and has pledged its commitment to covering the costs of vaccination for its entire workforce. “The safety and wellbeing of our guests and associates is important to us. We are looking at partnering with health care providers across cities in which we operate to facilitate the COVID-19 vaccination drive for all our associates in a phased manner. We are committed towards ensuring that all our associates are vaccinated in line with the government approved procedures and timelines.
